CEO MohFoods- Miss Oladepo Olajumoke

Glory to God. Getting to interview this amazing woman of God was a privilege for us. We are highly honoured and greatly blessed. As you read through our interview session with her, we pray you catch the fire. Amen.

Can we meet you?

I’m Oladepo Olajumoke.

What is the meaning of Olajumoke? Most people seem not to know what it means.

Means there is enough wealth to go round.

Wow! Cool. How did you receive salvation?

That was in Jss 3,my English teacher then preached to the whole class during one of our classes and I gave my life to Christ.

How did you feel when you gave your life to Christ?

I felt new, like a brand new being with a fresh start.

And how has the journey been so far?

It has been awesome over the years, its been from one level of growth to another.

Is there anything peculiar about a female belonging to Christ?

Of course yes…salvation helps a female just as much as male to not miss it in life.

Can you tell us practical ways how giving your life to Jesus has helped you as a female?

It has really helped me to be God-centred and not self-centred. I don’t do things because people are doing them, I give reference to God because I want Him to be glorified in every decision I make. And it has really turned out well for me by His grace.

Glory to God! So, what are you doing at the moment?

For God or what I am into?

Let’s start with for God.

I minister in songs. I am a member of the youth choir of my church and also a member of a christian musical organization called the Symphonizers.

Which part do you sing?

I sing alto.

Nice. So many females love to sing, they want to join the choir. Can you advice them?

Yes, it is good if that is your calling but if not, I’ll advise that you discover the calling of God upon your life and only then can you be fulfilled.

Thank you ma. What are you into at the moment?

I’m waiting to continue my education at the Nigerian Law School and also job hunting in the process of waiting.

We hear you are a caterer. How true is this?

Really? You are well informed. Yes,I am a caterer

How did you start?

I actually enjoy cooking and always want to try out new recipes,so early last year I started nurturing the idea of starting my own catering business and I started officially in August last year.

Wonderful. What is the name of your catering business?

Mohfoods.

Hmmm….Nice. What is your favorite Scripture verse?

That would be 1John 4:4.

What would you say to girls that have not given their life to Jesus?

Salvation is the best thing that could ever happen to a person. When you have Jesus, you have all that you need. Jesus loves you, consider Him today and see your life turn around for the best.

Hmmm…It’s nice having to share from your experience and wisdom. Do you have any words for CGN?

Yes. I pray for more grace for this body of Christ. Everything needed for the success of this mission is supplied in Jesus name.

Amen. We have come to the end of the interview. Thank you ma fof allowing this moment.

Am glad to be a part of this. Thanks for the opportunity.

“I Thought I Was There Already”- Egbedeyi Blessing

It was another amazing time with another lady of God. She is Egbedeyi Blessing. We were able to draw from her wealth of knowledge and experience. God bless you as you read:

Like most interview starts, can we meet you?
Owkay. My name is Egbedeyi Blessing. I am in my mid twenties, the first born of a family of four children, I am a christian and I am a student. Any other thing you will like to know will be answered accordingly.

Glory to God! Can you share with us your salvation experience?

Hmmm… All I can say is Glory be to God for finding me when I though I was there already. I have always been “self righteous” and “morally upright” but God dealt with me on 13th sept, 2012,  when I went for a camping retreat tagged “the cynosure” and since then God have been my sufficiency. Even though I fall sometimes, He is always there to pick me up.

Halleluyah. What really touched you at the camping retreat? Was it a song, a message or the theme? What exactly?

The message.

Can you remember the title and few things God passed across through the message?

I’ve always wished to be someone everyone reckons with, and the message came in a way that you cannot be a cynosure until you belong totally to God. The God news came in a unique way.

There are girls running away from Christ, how true is this?

Yes! Absolutely true. But I believe a man cannot run away from His creator, He knows all.

Why do you think girls run?

The main reason I think is because of peer groups, the truth is most people actually want to know christ, but once they hear the good news and go back to their company, due to the fact that the word is not deeply rooted, they tend to forget about it. Hunger for enjoyment of life, background, environment and not having a strong will are also causes.

Peer groups? Can you enlighten us ma?

Yes. I believe everybody has one or two group of friends she walks with, which goes a long way in influencing our individual ways of life.  Someone who doesn’t know Christ definitely is in a company of unbelievers. Therefore, if such person receives the good news and decides to leave the old way of life, the friends put pressure on such a person and if care is not taken, she is likely to fall back to sin.

Were you ever a victim of bad peer groups?

No. I never was. Remember I said I was self righteous and morally upright, so I had friends that were Christians but I wasn’t like them.

Did you have any challenges growing up?

[Smiles.] Yes. And I still do

Can you share some with us and how you overcame them?

Hmmmm. You know as a lady, there is always an idol in ur heart of what your husband will look like. As for me, I love guys with little bow leg, not too slim and hardworking and seriously it has been a challenge for me as a christian because I have a lot of guys like that around me and each each time I see them, I will just be like wow!  But even with that, I am overcoming it because all I do now is to pray and just accept that even if God’s will doesn’t look best to me, that’s what will give me the best if I hold on. Apart from relationships, before salvation and early periods of my walk with God, I also have this challenge of keeping malice with people, although I’ve always believed it’s not malice but a way of avoiding trouble by not telling an offence to the offender. But now, God has dealt with it and I confront anybody that does wrong to me to settle it amicably.

Glory to God.Can we talk about God’s will?

Hmmmm. What do you want me to talk about it?

How did you get to discard the idols in your heart for God’s will? Have you found God’s will?

Yes. I have but am not in a relationship with him for now. I had to discard the idol when I had a clear direction of who God’s will is, and I have come to realize that even though God’s plan seem not to work in your own eyes, it’s a matter of time, everything will fall in place and you will understand God actually had you in mind wen he was planning.

What are you doing presently?

I am a student.

Cool. What is your favorite Bible verse?

Isaiah  11:2

What do you have to tell girls that are running from God?

No matter how hard you run. It doesn’t cost God a second to catch up with you. No one runs from her creator

What about does battling with God’s will?

[Sigh] I battled o. It was a serious battle. But no other relationship worked for me, that was when I knew I had to calm down and work with God. There is a way that seems right to man, but the end thereof is destruction. Only a way walked through by God’s leading will not lead to destruction.

Hmmm. It’s nice getting to share from your experience and wisdom. Do you have any words for CGN?

Yes. CGN is a good platform and seriously, this generation needs to be informed about issues relating to life. All I can say is that God will give you the grace not to be weary in this ministry of yours. Keep up the good work

Thank you ma.

The ME plus GOD- Oladeji Iyanuoluwa

We had a wonderful time with Oladeji Iyanuoluwa who is popularly known as ‘HighWhy’. As you read through our interview with her, we are certain you are going to be blessed.

Can we meet you?
I am Oladeji Iyanuoluwa. From a family of four,am the second born and the first daughter of my family. Am a graduate of UNIOSUN,Economics department. I did my youth service in Delta state and by His grace I lived in the Nigerian Christian Corpers’ Fellowship (NCCF) lodge where I served as the Music director and Financial Secretary.

Wow! What does is it feel like to be the first daughter?

[Smiles] It’s a big responsibility I must confess, because a first daughter to me is just like the second mother in the family especially when you have an elder brother that doesn’t really stay with you and having two younger sisters. Your younger ones tends to emulate what you are doing, that means you can’t just afford to mess up. Advising my siblings, though we respect ourselves in my family, so my baby sister advices me sometimes, you know!

Very interesting. Can you mention some of the responsibilities?

Knowing that my siblings are fine in all areas; emotionally, academically, to mention a few.

Can you share with us your salvation experience?

Actually, I forgot to tell you earlier that I am an Anglican priests’ daughter. I was born into Christianity, church activity is not something that stress me. But talking about salvation, I got to a stage in life I realized that salvation is a personal thing, not a family thing. I can’t really give a date, time and how it happened like some can, but at that point I realized it is ME+ GOD and not ‘WE’. I turned it over to Him and that was all. And since then it has been awesome with HIM because come to think of it, He’s the reason why I live. I know it’s not the experience you are used to. But that’s how I can just explain mine.

Halleluyah! What was growing up like?

Growing up! It has been wonderful especially when God has blessed you with wonderful parents, siblings and good set of friends.

Wow! You must really love all of them.

From here to the moon and back.

Cool. Are you saying you have never encountered people who disappointed you?

I have, but have tried as much as possible not to let it get to me. One of my street brothers once told me ‘don’t expect too much from people, because they are human; they can disappoint anytime’. Have learnt to love people they way they are. I must have disappointed some people too, you know!

As a female, did you have any challenges growing up?

Not really.

Wow! Are you saying it is possible to grow without challenges?

Didn’t say that, just said not really because I can’t really think through it. Owkay, maybe I had the challenge of speaking with my classmates. why? Because I was afraid of making grammatical blunder and knowing fully well that they are from rich homes, you know I always felt they could speak better than me.

How did you overcome it?

I tried to encourage myself, which I am still doing.

What do you do for a living?

Forgot to tell you during the introduction what I do at present, am a Fashion Designer.

Wow! How have you been able to represent Christ in fashion designing?

Actually, have been trying my best not to sew what will not glorify God. May God help me more.

Amen. What is your favorite Bible verse?

Phillipians 3:10

We are rounding up already. Do you think girls are doing well in the world today, especially in the terms of dominion?

I won’t say we have gotten there but it is better off than yesterday, that simply means we can do better!

Great. Do you want to make shout-outs to anybody?

Yes. Firstly to all the girls who seem confused about themselves but are finding their balance, shout out of Love of Christ to them, He loves you so so very much! Shout out to all the who believe in the Love of Christ, more grace. God bless.

Do you have any words for CGN?

Yes, CGN! God will continue to empower you to do exploit. Because this platform is a WOW! to me,and really it has been fun with YOU. Thanks for the privilege to  share a little bit of myself to my fellow sisters, God bless.

Thank you very much ma. God bless you.

An Additional Blessing to Generations- Miss Oluwabusolami Fadipe

We had an interview session with this beautiful and wonderful lady. She is a light shining in the world and you can be sure that darkness can not and will never comprehend her.

We had an interview session with this beautiful and wonderful lady. She is a light shining in the world and you can be sure that darkness can not and will never comprehend her. We had a nice time and we hope you get blessed as you check through the interactions.

Can we meet you ma?

I’m Oluwabusolami Fadipe by name

Nice, what does Oluwabusolami mean? And what does it mean especially to you?

Hmmm Oluwabusolami actually means ‘The Lord has added to my wealth’. I have always lived in this consciousness that I’m an addition to the world in a way although I don’t measure it anymore in terms of wealth but it simply reminds me I’m an additional blessing to my generation.

Wow! Glory to God. Can you share with us your salvation experience?

I grew up in a strong christian home, so for me it was just default to be a ‘good girl’. I continued that way obeying several dos and donts till SS2 back in high school when I read a book titled He chose the Nails by Max Lucado. It was then I decided to give up on being religious and finally embraced the grace of God. The following months were tough understanding what been saved really means and not following laws exactly but there was peace knowing that my salvation was freely given and not earned by my works… Glory to God.

Well, there are so many people out there who don’t understand salvation or don’t see a reason to be saved. What has salvation done for you? And why do you think people should embrace salvation?

Wow salvation has broken my walls down in a lot of ways. There’s this peace and joy knowing that you’re loved regardless of where you’ve been and because I wasn’t saved by my own deeds, it has helped me to stop been critical or judgemental about other people but to show the kind of love I received. We can give a thousand reasons why people should be saved but for me salvation is the solution the world needs right now because it reveals Jesus above societal values, philosophies of wise people and popular culture. It shows us a way to be free without beating ourselves up.As much as the world paints this scary picture of a giant God, we’re still loved so what more could be better.

You mentioned that you are an additional blessing to your generation. Don’t you think being a blessing is meant for the male gender alone as is the thought and principle of some?

[Lol] No no no. Being a Blessing is not gender specific. It’s not blessing if it has to revolve around one particular gender.

Then what will it be?

That will be gross monopoly. When God calls you to be a blessing, He allows you to impact as many people as possible directly or indirectly.

There are many people who think females shouldn’t be great people and so we have so many females living in that consciousness, what do you have to say about that?

I understand that the society has a lot to say about females not aspiring towards greatness but my point is we have a role to play too. You can’t be visionless or just act anyhow and expect the society to support you. You need to believe in yourself and have goals, the society will treat you exactly how you treat yourself.

So, you are calling on females to stand up and work against this mindset?

Yes it all starts with the mindset. There will always be people who don’t believe in a female rising up but the question is what do you believe in?  Some time ago, I was told not to read too much and just stop at a Masters at the most because nobody is going to marry an overly educated woman. It not enough to cry out on the media alone, you have to act. How will you as a female even limit life to just human hair and luxury or parade on the media and expect anyone to take you serious. It requires diligence, acting and just prove the world wrong. We dont need to fight we just need to stand.

We know you own a blog that is on world government and economy. What inspired you to start it?

Yes glory to God. I realized that a lot of people have a wrong notion on politics and all. The first step to change is having a different mindset so I decided to reform the minds of people by informing people about the reality and not just false censored facts placed in news or media content. It’s slow growing but I believe change is going to happen by reforming the minds of people.

Who is your mentor?

Oladoyin Makinde. I’m still a mentee though and then I belong to a club that mentors young girls and women too.

What other thing(s) do you do apart from your blog and being a member of a girl club?

I’m a student of International law major and I attend conferences for leadership and global development. I engage in inspirational talks sometimes and take up few projects.

That’s nice. What is the name of the club you mentioned earlier?

GodsOwnDiva club.

Great. And your blog is called ‘Multidesk’.

Yes.
What is your favourite Bible verse?

[Lol] Do I have one? Ok but I really love Psalm 139:13-15. It’s refreshing.

What of a favorite Bible story or character?

Hmmmm Elijah. [Lol] Even though he is a masculine figure.

Interesting! Oluwabusolami is a fire woman o…

[Lol] I’m still work in progress.

It’s nice having you here. Do you have any words for Chosen Girl NG and every person reading this?

I will just say this, there is a lot of mess up on the media these days on feminism. It’s getting misconstrued. We dont need to be bitter about the way the world treats us we should be inspired by all of them. So It’s time to have a world full of strong girls who understand purpose and still believe in God. It was nice having these minutes with Chosen Girl Nigeria.

Thank you very much. It’s a privilege. God bless and increase CGN

Thank you very much ma.

God bless you.
